Welcome to my blog, here is a little bit about me: I grew up on a small farm in Montana, graduated from a tiny high school that I remember with the fondest of memories. Seeking the beach after many years in the mountains, I found myself studying journalism in yet another tiny school, Flagler College, perched in site of the Atlantic shoreline in northern Florida. Although the ocean treated me well for several years, I now find myself in an uncrowded corner of Paraguay – South America’s little, landlocked forgotten country. For the next two years, this is where I will write about and record the experience. These are my thoughts, my inhibitions, my failures, my fears, my realizations, my stumbling, plodding steps through South America, my triumphs. This is the first leg of my life as I make it my own, these are my words.
